NB Roots&Branches Culminating Event

Saturday July 18th

The Vault : 791 Purchase Street, New Bedford MA

NB Roots&Branches’ 2026 culminating event uses a 5 foot long kaleidoscope, found objects, transformational light and shadows, large scale projection, a 40 minute mosaic music composition, and poetry, crowd sourced anonymously in real time then read at the conclusion of the event by poet Aneisha Savino. The many elements combined explore the way our perspective on reality, life, home, and possibility are shaped by outside forces and the powerful ability we have to resist those forces and transform our world with clear, creative, personal vision. There are multiple ways to interact with the experience including passive concert and art viewing and direct participatory visual art and writing opportunities. The entire experience no matter how you participate is about 45 minutes. The visual and written components and the concept itself are created jointly by Jeff Angeley and Lauren Pusey. The musical composition and performance is Angeley’s. The actual poem, we have a hand. But… you can too. (It’ll be much easier and more fun than you realize). Of course, you’ll have to experience it to know what we mean exactly. Join us, and open your eyes to unexpected possibilities!
